IHOP is sponsoring a fundraiser for Riley Hospital for Children on National Pancake Day, which is Tuesday.
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., visitors will receive one complimentary short stack of buttermilk pancakes and in return, IHOP is asking customers to donate $5 to Riley. There is a limit of one free short stack per guest.
More than 1,500 IHOPs across the nation are participating, including Columbus’ restaurant at 54 Johnson Blvd.
IHOP hopes to raise $5 million for children’s hospitals across the nation and hopes to serve 5 million pancakes on Tuesday to support the cause. The restaurant chain raised more than $36,000 for Riley last year.
Through Tuesday, customers may also purchase Miracle Balloons to support Riley, with customers receiving a discount coupon on a future purchase.
