Bowlers roll big games

Luther Johnson and Bonnie Roberts led the Wednesday Night Mixed League last week at Columbus Bowling Center.

Johnson recorded the men’s high game (278) and series, while Roberts had the women’s high game (192) and series (521). Bush’s Market posted the team high game (936) and series (2,736).

Old Time Flea Market leads the team standings at 116-76, two games ahead of Berkshire Hathaway and three ahead of The Brooklyn Dodgers.

Panthers split pair

Jennings County Middle School bounced back from a 71-60 loss to Madison on Tuesday with a 102-6 rout of Hazelwood on Thursday.

Aaron Sanders (100 pounds), Sam Burkman (117), Jaydon Cochrane (127), Kade Law (142) and Cameron Harris (157) all won by pin against Madison. Matthew Betz (97), Kenton Wilson (105), Evan Sohocki (112), Payton Hayden (177) and Ian Scott (187) won by forfeit.
