Lauren Simmons and Les Solomon of Columbus announce their engagement.
Miss Simmons is the daughter of David and Brenda Simmons of Columbus. She graduated from Benedictine University with a Master of Science in nutrition and wellness in 2014; from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in dietetics in 2013; and from Hauser Jr/Sr High School in 2009. She is a sports dietitian for Purdue University Athletics.
The future groom is the son of Nancy Solomon and the late William Solomon of Columbus. He graduated from Columbus North High School in 2002 and is a sales manager at Bob Poynter Columbus.
The wedding is set for May 4 in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
