Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men on drug-related charges after a traffic stop.
Deputy Andrew Dougan saw the driver of a van commit multiple traffic infractions at 9 p.m. Sunday before making a traffic stop at 17th Street and Central Avenue in Columbus. The deputy confirmed a passenger, Tyler J. Cook, 25, of 602 N. Dellasburg Road, was wanted on two local arrest warrants, deputies said.
Deputy Matt Bush arrived to assist with K-9 Diesel, who alerted to drugs inside the van, deputies said. In a search, deputies found methamphetamine, marijuana and drug-related paraphernalia in the vehicle, deputies said.
Cook was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession or use of legend drugs, trafficking with an inmate and the warrants, deputies said.

He was being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $138,000 bond, jail officials said.
The driver, Gary Pasley, 56, of 2420 Sims Court, also was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related paraphernalia, deputies said.
He was being held in jail in lieu of $65,000 bond, jail officials said.
