Registration forms are available for landlords who own private rental properties in Columbus after the city recently passed legislation requiring mandatory registration.
Columbus City Council voted earlier this month to pass an ordinance requiring landlords who own private rental properties to pay a $5 fee per rental property and to provide contact information to the city for an owner or agent. Registration forms can be found on the city’s website or through the city’s Community Development office, said Robin Hilber, community development programs coordinator with the city.
