BCSC technology director retiring; replacement hired

Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. has appointed a new technology director, something it has not done in 20 years.

School board members this week approved the appointment of Nick Williams to the position currently held by Mike Jamerson, who is retiring.

Jamerson, 69, joined the Columbus-based school district as technology director in 1998.

Williams, who serves as the district’s coordinator of instructional technology, will move into the position July 1. Jamerson will assist Williams through the end of the calendar year in a transitionary role.
