PITTSFIELD, Maine — State police say a mechanic found a body inside the trunk of a car he was working on at a dealership.

WMTW-TV reports state police say they were notified Friday afternoon. Police say the mechanic found the body at a Varney Chevrolet dealership in Pittsfield.

Few other details are known. State police public information officer Stephen McCausland didn’t immediately respond to request for comment.
