INDIANA, Pa. — Authorities have released the name of a man killed in an apparent domestic fight that left a woman critically injured.

State police in Indiana County said troopers were sent to a home in White Township at about 8:15 a.m. Saturday after the 59-year-old woman fled to a neighbor’s home for help. She was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in critical condition.

Troopers then went to her home and found 66-year-old Daniel Zelenski unresponsive with “indications of trauma to his body.” He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they believe both had been stabbed but revealed little more about how they were wounded. Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. said the man died of multiple sharp force wounds. A knife was recovered from the scene.
