TULARE, Calif. — An altercation on a Greyhound bus on Highway 99 in the San Joaquin Valley left five people and a female suspect with injuries.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of a stabbing on the bus Monday afternoon and found that passengers had detained the woman.

Two adults were taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Two other adults and a 3-year-old girl suffered minor injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office says the suspect had moderate self-inflicted injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment before being booked.
