Catherine L. Hoffmeister, 86, of Brown County, passed away on February 20, 2018.
She was born on February 2, 1932 in Auburn, to Harold and Edna Muster.
She enjoyed knitting and sitting out on the front porch enjoying books and nature.
Survivors include her son, Jay (Chrystal) Hoffmeister; stepson, Jeff Hoffmeister; three grandchildren, Joey, Alexis and Jade; great-grandson, Carter; and her brother, John Muster.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hoffmeister; and her son, Joel Hoffmeister.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, with the service at 4 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brown County Humane Society.
