Charles R. Dilsizian

COLUMBUS

Charles R. Dilsizian, 69, of Fiesbeck Drive, died at 7:35 a.m. March 11, 2018, at Greenwood Healthcare Center.

Charles was born November 2, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Roosevelt and Helen Fasbender Dilsizian.

He retired from Sonoco Flexible Packaging in November of 2012, and was a member of East Columbus United Methodist Church where he sang in the church choir.

Charles was also proud to be a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

He loved hunting and his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Charles was very kind, giving and generous, always willing to lend a hand with anything he could.

He also loved his dogs, Lexi, Peanut and Snickers, and his cat, Panda.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at East Columbus United Methodist Church with Pastor Charles Aigner officiating. Calling will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at the church and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Survivors include his wife, Jane David Dilsizian, whom he married September 28, 1986; son, Bryan A. Dilsizian of Cincinnati; daughters, Lori A. Dilsizian Sponsel of Franklin and Melissa M. Dilsizian Young of Indianapolis; stepdaughter, Jennie D. (Steve) Blystone of Columbus; brothers, Jerry (Rhonda) Dilsizian and Ken (Cindy) Dilsizian, both of Detroit; grandchildren, Trae Perkins, Jordyn Perkins Gordon, Damon Young, Brandon Young, Maddox Dilsizian, Joshua Corrie and Tyler Corrie; and a great- granddaughter, Aurora Rose Gordon.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
