NINEVEH
Wayne E. Thompson, 63 of Nineveh, passed away March 10, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana In-Patient Facility in Columbus.
He was born July 20, 1954 in Franklin. He was the son of Lawrence and Natalie M. “Tallie” (Gasser) Thompson.
He married Sue (Werne) Thompson on November 17, 1985.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Emily (Josh) Watson of Trafalgar; grandchildren, Lucy Watson and Elsie Watson; sisters, Shirley (Larry) Eades of Franklin, and Judy Simpson of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a 37-year employee of Davey Tree Expert Co. working as a certified arborist.
He enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren, socializing with his friends, hunting, being outdoors, riding his motorcycle and adventures.
A celebration of life will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Edinburgh American Legion, Post 233, 500 Memorial Drive, Edinburgh.
