Free legal aid clinic offered at United Way

Legal Aid will have a free legal aid clinic from 3 to 5 p.m. March 26 at the United Way Center, 1531 13th St., Columbus.

The clinic utilizes local volunteer attorneys who offer free legal consultations to low-income individuals. People who attend can expect to receive a 10-minute consultation to answer general questions, offer legal information and receive limited advice, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no need to register in advance.

Legal Aid is a nonprofit providing free civil legal services, lawyer referrals and domestic violence-related legal representation to low-income people in Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Rush and Shelby counties.
