Learn to be a storm spotter

Bartholomew County will have storm spotter weather training from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday.

The training is a partnership with the National Weather Service and the county’s Emergency Management office. National Weather Service meteorologist Dave Tucek will describe cloud patterns and radar signatures associated with severe weather and cover how to report severe storms and how to remain safe.

The training, which is free and open to the public, will be at the Columbus Learning Center, 4555 Central Ave.
