Columbus native and singer returns to Harlequin

Columbus native and singer/musician Allie Burbrink returns to the Harlequin Theatre for a concert at 7 p.m. Thursday as part of a bluegrass duo with veteran musical artist and partner Frank Lee.

Lee plays guitar, slide guitar and banjo and Burbrink plays guitar, banjo and harmonica.

Burbrink is a 2003 Columbus North High School graduate who was a member of the Whipstitch Sallies, an area folk group. She now lives in North Carolina and tours nationally with Lee.

The duo’s 90-minute set list will include old-fashioned rural Southern tunes, country blues and spirituals. They last played the Harlequin, located inside FairOaks Mall at 2380 25th St., in March 2017.

Tickets are $15 in advance at frankandallie.brownpapertickets.com or $20 at the door.
