Doyle L. McDaniel died unexpectedly in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, on March 13, 2018.
He was born in Franklin, to the late Thomas and Opal (Schoolcraft) McDaniel on April 16, 1956.
Doyle lived most of his life in Brown County before moving to Seymour.
Doyle was a truck driver and sang in a band called the “Straight Shooters” for many years.
When he was a youngster, he loved to hunt.
Doyle is survived by his brother, Tom McDaniel of Columbus; two brothers-in-law, Joe Andrew and Jim Harden, and his sister-in-law, Delores McDaniel.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Duane and Delbert McDaniel, and three sisters, LaVerne Andrew, Delores McDaniel and Sharon McDaniel.
As per Doyle’s request there is no service.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 N. State Road 135 North, Nashville, is entrusted with arrangements.
