James and Joyce Willis of Columbus are honoring their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration given by their children March 24.
Mr. Willis and his wife, the former Joyce Edwards, were married March 24, 1968, at First Methodist Church in Columbus.
Mr. Willis is retired from The Republic newspaper. Mrs. Willis is a homemaker.
They have two children, Steve Willis of Shelbyville and Kari Kerns of Columbus; and two grandchildren.
