A presentation about experiences of the American Radio Relay Leagues’ “Force of 50” who were sent to Puerto Rico last fall for hurricane recovery efforts is planned in April.
Valerie Hotzfeld of Crescent City, Illinois, will be the speaker, presenting over Skype during a meeting of the Columbus Amateur Radio Club at 7 p.m. April 12 at First Lutheran Church, 3600 25th St.
Hotzfeld is co-host of the netcast “Ham Nation,” recently named the 2018 Amateur of the Year by the Hamvention Awards Committee.
The event is open to the public.
