CASPER, Wyo. — A former Casper Re-Entry Center employee has been sentenced to probation for having a sexual relationship with an inmate at the facility.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports that Andrea Morgan received a sentence of three years supervised probation on Wednesday.

If she violates the terms of her probation she could serve two to four years in prison.

As part of a deal with prosecutors, Morgan entered a conditional guilty plea in January to a third-degree count of sexual assault.

Morgan had worked as a contract health services administrator at the privately owned corrections facility until March 2016. She acknowledged to investigators that she had sexual contact with the inmate while he was at the center and then had sex with him the evening he was released.
