BATON ROUGE, La. — Police say a 73-year-old man a wheelchair was fatally struck by a vehicle in Louisiana.
Baton Rouge Police told news outlets that the man was trying to cross Airline Highway on Friday night. The man in the wheelchair was going south in the outside lane before the driver of a Honda struck him.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Police say charges are not expected against the driver.
