HAYDEN — Jennings County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a North Vernon man after he was accused of pulling a handgun on a family member and making threats.
Deputies were sent to County Road 750W near Hayden at 10:30 p.m. Friday about the incident, said Lt. Mike Mowery, Jennings County Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
Deputies made contact with Tracy Chadd, 41, North Vernon, who was arrested without incident, Mowery said. Several firearms were confiscated from the residence.
Chadd was arrested on a preliminary charge of intimidation with a deadly weapon and was being held in the Jennings County Jail in lieu of $1,055 bond, jail officials said.
