Price increase looms Philharmonic; lock in season tickets

Patrons have a chance to lock in this year’s prices for the seven-ticketed-event 2018-19 Columbus Indiana Philharmonic season. The offer is good through Saturday before new, higher ticket prices go into effect.

The Philharmonic season opens Sept. 15 at Columbus North’s Judson Erne Auditorium with “Bernstein and Gershwin” featuring Drew Petersen on piano, and ends April 20, 2019, with “Tchaikovsky and Beethoven 7” featuring Susie Park on violin, also at Erne Auditorium.

The ticketed season also includes concerts in October, November, December, February and March. Full-price adult season tickets range from $120 to $280, with discounts for seniors and students. For the full schedule, detailed pricing information and to order tickets, visit thecip.org

The Philharmonic season includes the annual Salute! concert, which is free, May 24 at the Bartholomew County Memorial for Veterans.
