CANON CITY, Colo. — An inmate who escaped from a prison in southern Colorado has been found.

The Colorado Department of Corrections says Robert Roberts was arrested Tuesday at a quarry near Canon City, about 17 miles from the Skyline Correctional Center where he went missing on Sunday.

Roberts was serving an 18-month sentence for forgery there and had been set to be released in July.
