BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. — Detroit Country Day’s Kaela Webb has been named The Associated Press Class B girls basketball Player of the Year for Michigan.

Webb averaged 15.9 points, 3.6 assists and 3.7 steals per game as she led the Jackets to their third Class B state title in four years.

Michigan Center’s Joe Lusk was named Coach of the Year after leading the Cardinals to the state semifinals this season.

They were chosen by a panel of Michigan sportswriters.
