EDINBURGH — The Indiana Department of Transportation will patch and rehabilitate pavement on State Road 252 between U.S. 31 and Interstate 65 at Edinburgh this spring. Construction signs will go up next week with the work to begin in late April.
Dave O’Mara, North Vernon, is the state contractor for a $317,500 pavement preservation project. Subcontractor for the 2.5-mile project in Johnson and Shelby counties is Reece Seal Coating.
Traffic will be rerouted around worksites by flaggers, and all work should be completed before Memorial Day weekend, INDOT officials said.
The traffic count for this stretch of State Road 252 at Edinburgh is 5,940 vehicles per day.
