William Theodore “Ted” Albertson, 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Brown County Health and Living Center in Nashville, Indiana.
He was born on December 20, 1941 in Washington County, Indiana, the son of the late Alfred and Nancy (Brown) Albertson.
Ted was a carpenter and bridge superintendent for Milestone Construction Co. in Indianapolis, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 398 in Columbus.
Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Gail E. (Shelton) Albertson on May 27, 2008; a sister, Kathryn Moore, four brothers, Wayne, Junior, Franklin D. and Randall Albertson; and a grandson, Aaron Albertson Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Ann Dougherty (Tom) of Columbus, four sons, James William Albertson (Susan), Leland Ray Albertson (JoAnn), Michael Roger Albertson (Suzanne) and Aaron Ray Albertson (Monica), all of Columbus; three brothers, Harry Albertson (Bonnie) and Jerry Albertson (Glenda), all of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Kenny Albertson of Denver, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at noon on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with burial in Mount Eden Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
