EASTON, R.I. — Police have charged an East Bridgewater man in connection to a Christmas Day shooting.
The Easton Police Department says 53-year-old Lee. J. Fruzzetti allegedly shot a man in a home on Massapoag Avenue on Dec. 25.
Police arrived to find a 50-year-old man shot twice. He was transported to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Police launched an investigation and arrested Fruzzetti on Feb. 20 on multiple charges.
He is being held without bail on three separate cases facing multiple charges. Police had a warrant out for Fruzzetti in connection to an incident where he allegedly pulled a knife on a man at Corfinio restaurant, and for providing false information to police.
An attorney for Fruzzetti could not be reached.
