Ricky E. Ross

PIGEON FORGE, TENN.

Ricky E. Ross, 65, of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, formerly of Crothersville, died at 5:39 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Le Conte Hospital in Sevierville, Tennessee.

He was born January 16, 1953, in Columbus, to Robert Marshall and Betty George Ross. He married Dorothy “Dee” Lucas March 9, 1980.

Ricky retired from both Faurecia and construction work, including 27 years with the labor union.

He loved hunting, camping with his children and fishing, but most of all he loved reading the word of God.

An extra special thank you goes to Ricky’s nieces and nephews, Lowell and Alisha Hempstead, and William and Michelle Imlay, and Julie and Gary.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Lucas officiating. Visitation will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service.

He is survived by his wife, Dee; children, Angela (William) Boling, Jason (Michelle Busher)Ross and Macusha (Tony) Nolan, all of Seymour, and Joshua (Desiree) Ross of Crothersville; grandchildren, Jasmine Payne, Tyler Nolan, Chyenne Parett, Joanhah Ross, Bryce Bowman, Mark Ross and Isaiah Ross; great-granddaughter, Hannah Perry; and brothers, Paul Ross of Seymour and Jay Allen Ross of Bloomington.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Scott Hawkins.
