IUCA+D hosting downtown art exhibition in Columbus

The Indiana University Center for Art and Design in downtown Columbus is hosting an exhibition featuring work created by a New York artist.

The exhibition, Tigers, Warriors and Banshees, will highlight the work of Judith Linhares and will be displayed at 310 Jackson St. through May 4.

IUPUC professor named Outstanding Woman Leader

An IUPUC professor has been named as an Outstanding IUPUI Woman Leader.

Joan Poulsen, IUPUC division head for the division of science and associate professor of psychology, was named as a recipient of the award during the women’s history month leadership reception March 27 at IUPUI.

Ivy Tech plans open house for high school students

High school students and their parents are invited to an open house at Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus this month.

The school will host College 101 at Ivy Tech from 6 to 8 p.m. April 19 at its campus, 4555 Central Ave. Attendees will be able to meet with faculty and staff and learn about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, commonly known as the FAFSA, assessment tests, selecting a major and more.
