Free showing of movie “Food Evolution,” 2 p.m., auditorium at Ivy Tech Community College’s Columbus campus, 4475 Central Ave. The documentary is about the science of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Two Ivy Tech agriculture professors will be available for questions afterward. Sponsored by Scott and Lois Bonnell, Bartholomew County Farm Bureau and Ivy Tech’s ag program.

Stockdogs workshop, Switzerland County. The workshop is intended to answer questions about what stockdogs can add to a farm livestock operation and training. Demonstrations will include dogs doing chores, such as gathering livestock, watching gates and moving livestock off feed bunks. Cost is $80 daily to work dogs with a clinician and $30 for auditing.
