COLUMBIA, S.C. — A man has been arrested in the shooting death of another man in South Carolina last month.

Columbia police said in a news release that 18-year-old Gwan Lamont Perry Jr. was arrested Monday and charged with murder, attempted murder, attempted strong arm robbery and possession of a weapon during a crime.

Perry is accused of shooting and killing 30-year-old Cory Jenkins in Columbia on March 25. A second man was shot and wounded in that attack.

Investigators say the shooting happened after an argument. Police say more arrests are possible.

It was not known if Perry has an attorney yet.
