SNOW HILL, N.C. — Authorities in North Carolina have arrested and charged a man in the death of his grandfather and his 6-year-old cousin.

Greene County Sheriff Lemmie Smith told news outlets 20-year-old Myles Duggins was arrested in Raleigh on Tuesday and charged with two open counts of murder and larceny of a motor vehicle.

Investigators say 68-year-old Johnnie Boy Jefferson was shot and killed inside a home outside of Snow Hill on Tuesday. Isaiah Thomas Hill was taken to the hospital after he was shot multiple times and died of his wounds.

According to authorities, Duggins stole a car equipped with OnStar. He was located and apprehended in Raleigh with the help of Onstar.

Duggins is being held in the Greene County jail without bond. It’s not known if he has an attorney.
