Bartholomew County is included in a strong-wind advisory for today.
Southwest winds may gust to around 40 mph from late morning into this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.
The advisory also covers neighboring counties including Jackson, Johnson, Shelby and Brown, said Shannan Hinton, Bartholomew County Emergency Management director.
The advisory said unsecured objects may be blown around. Motorists, especially in high-profile vehicles, should be alert for strong cross winds, the weather service said.
