FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — The New York Jets have waived four players, including running back Jeremy Langford.

The team also announced Friday that quarterback Joel Stave, running back Jahad Thomas and wide receiver Daniel Williams were cut.

Langford spent his first two NFL seasons with Chicago, where he ran for 737 yards and 10 touchdowns, and caught 41 passes for 421 yards and a TD. He was waived by the Bears last September and spent time with Baltimore before New York signed him to its practice squad in December.

Stave, a former Wisconsin star, was signed to the Jets’ practice squad last December.

Thomas spent time on New York’s practice squad last season and was promoted to the active roster for the season finale.

Williams was signed to a reserve/future contract in January.
