Student honored at conference

Jennings County High School student Mariah Grider recently earned honorable mention in the Outstanding Senior category at the Jobs for America’s Graduates 10th annual State Career Development Conference in Indianapolis.

The JAG program helps high school students with barriers to success earn their diploma and learn employability skills.

Students from across the state competed in 10 categories that challenged their critical thinking skills, entrepreneurial savvy, public speaking and writing comprehension.
