Duncan fires 65, moves into tie for 13th

Tyler Duncan tied for the day’s best round Saturday, a 7-under-par 65, to climb into a tie for 13th place in the RBC Canadian Open.

Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, had seven birdies and no bogeys at Glenn Abbey in Oakville, Ontario. He had a 3-under 32 on the front nine and a 4-under 33 on the back.

For the second day in a row, Duncan birdied three of the final four holes. He needed all of those birdies on Friday just to make the cut and began Saturday in a tie for 61st.

Duncan goes into today’s final round at 11-under 205. Dustin Johnson, Byeong Hun An, Kevin Tway and Whee Kim are in a four-way tie for the lead at 17-under 199.
