‘Back to the …’ park Sept. 15

Columbus Young Professionals will offer its second Moonlight Movies film at Mill Race Park, showing “Back to the Future” on Sept. 15.

The area will open at 7:30 p.m., with the free movie screening at dusk — between 9 and 9:30 p.m.

A large inflatable screen will be used to show the movie in an area between the Mill Race Amphitheater and Round Lake in the center of the park.

Food and refreshments will be able for purchase before the film, including popcorn, candy, Ice Pops by Flip Flop Ice Pop and a cash bar provided by Simmons Winery/450 North Brewing.

People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, and to wear their favorite 1980s-themed outfits.

The 1985 release is a 1980s science fiction classic, depicting small-town California teen Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) thrown back into the 1950s when an experiment by his eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) goes awry. The film is rated PG.
