First up, Health and Fitness Expo

The sixth annual Mill Race Marathon through Columbus is only days away.

First up is the Health and Fitness Expo, which is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at The Commons, 300 Washington St. It’s free and open to the public.

Nearly 30 local and national exhibitors will provide interactive displays and health information during the expo, where runners can also pick up their race packets.

Kids up to grade 6 can register for Friday’s 6 p.m. free Kids Fun Run until 4 p.m. at the Expo, then at Mill Race Park from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. Friday. The fun run, in six different heats, begins at 6 p.m. at the park, located at Fifth and Lindsey streets.

Through Thursday, registration for Saturday’s 5K, half marathon and full marathon is $95 for the full marathon, $80 for the half and $30 for the 5K. Fees increase Friday to $110 for the full marathon, $95 for the half and $35 for the 5K.
