Marketplace: Our Hospice employees receive multiple awards

Our Hospice of South Central Indiana employees were recognized at the Columbus Regional Health All Workforce event.

Receiving awards were:

Robert Borczon Scholarship: Kim Napier, registered nurse, facility shift supervisor.

Marion Dietrich Service Excellence: North Vernon office, including Sandy Downs, patient care manager; Amanda Blackburn, administrative assistant; registered nurses Cathy Betz, Andrea Weiler, Kristen Miller, Jennifer Asche, Jenny Asche, Kelli Carter, Kim Oliver, Ray Vaughn, Betty Owens, Courtney Wagner; Linda Garrity, home health aide; Jeff Curry, chaplain; David Caldie, MSW; and Chris Hall, administrative assistant.

Growth Achievement: Our Hospice Resource Development Department: Ellen Brunner, director of major gift planning, Brigitte Halvorsen, team coordinator, Julie Davis, event specialist, Tabitha Saltzman, administrative assistant and Lissa Fischer, prospect research analyst.

Our Hospice Volunteer of the Year: Don Meyer, for 25 years of service.

Our Hospice of South Central Indiana is a not-for-profit, community-based hospice providing care to individuals with a life-limiting condition and their families since 1980. We care for patients and families in 16 counties from offices in Columbus, North Vernon and Greensburg.
