BROWN COUNTY CHRISTMAS LOG HOME TOUR, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Dec. 1, Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship, 602 N. State Road 135, Nashville. One-day event. Five log structures decorated for Christmas. Learn the history of a log church built in 1940, a two-story log cabin built in 1937 with logs marked 1808, an artist studio and home build in 1920, a cabin build in 1920 using logs from a home in Kelp Village which was dismantled when the Brown County State Park was created, and a more modern log country home. Tickets $10 when purchased in advance from the Brown County History Center or Brown County Convention and Visitors Bureau. On day of event, tickets $12 and may be purchased at the History Center, Visitors Bureau or Brown County Presbyterian Church.

QMIX CHRISTMAS MUSICAL FIREWORKS, 7:15 p.m. Dec. 1, downtown Columbus, area of Washington and Fourth streets, Columbus. Mary Contrary is set to marry Tom Piper when he is kidnapped. All ends well in the end though and Mary and Tom live happily ever after.

CLASSIC MOVIE MATINEE: ‘3 GODFATHERS,’ 1 p.m. Dec. 8, Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Set during the Christmas season “3 Godfathers” is about three bandits who risk their lives to save a baby they discover in the Arizona desert. Released in 1948 the film is directed by John Ford and stars John Wayne and Ward Bond.
