• Vickie Best for the wonderful job she did decorating our bushes and tree in our front yard, from Rosemary.

• Sherry Grimes, right again.

• Sherry Grimes for telling “the rest of the story.”

• all those who wanted to drain the swamp, but now realize they have elected the “swamp monster in chief.”

• Bible Church of Columbus for the awesome drive-through nativity.

• St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Lincoln-Central neighborhood Family Center and all the volunteers for a wonderful Angels of Love event.

• the managers at the Wendy’s restaurant on National Road for exceptional customer service, from a customer.

• the women of the Flower Lane Garden Club of Columbus for coming to the Villas Apartments and providing the wonderful flowers, vases to make flower arrangements and for providing snacks and drinks, making the day special for everyone.

• the emergency room staff Saturday morning, from the woman with the kidney stone.

Onions to …

• neighbors who don’t understand that health problems prevent me from raking my leaves: grab a rake or blower instead of complaining.

• the negative letter to the editor, which should have been a positive one about the assembly for the Jewish community.

• the Trump Republicans who have moved so far to the right that the center now looks far left to them.

• people who destroyed the lights in Winter Park.

• nonprofit organization that left the leaves all over their grass.

• all of the businesses that aren’t open on the weekend.

• the politician that said we need more workers imported for businesses.

• the government leaders who’ve wasted money from the lottery instead of using it on the roads like they were supposed to, and for not putting third lanes down U.S 31 South so when there’s a wreck drivers can keep moving.

• the congressmen-elect who should explain his twisted thinking about allowing more visa workers to take our jobs.
