Centerstone is seeking donations to its CARES Client Assistance Fund, which provides help to support the immediate needs of children and adults who are receiving treatment for mental health and addiction disorders.
The program is funded by donations from Centerstone employees and the community. Proceeds are used to address barriers individuals face in working successfully on a recovery plan.
Therapists and care coordinators are allowed to request financial support to help clients with emergency needs through the fund, providing support for transportation, replacement glasses, winter or specialized work clothing and rent deposits.
Centerstone provides mental health and addictions treatment to individuals in more than 20 Indiana counties. Anyone wishing to make a tax deductible donation to the client assistance fund may do so at centerstone.org/give/. Donations are used to support clients in the donor’s community.
