Flohr named commissioners’ chairman
Rick Flohr has been unanimously chosen to succeed Larry Kleinhenz as 2019 Bartholomew County Board of Commissioners chairman.
As chairman, Flohr will run the commissioner meetings, and serve as spokesman for all three of the commissioners.
A 1968 Columbus High School graduate who attended Indiana State University, Flohr represents Jackson, Wayne, Ohio, Sandcreek and Rockcreek townships.
Voters chose Flohr to succeed Paul Franke as commissioner in 2012. The farmer and retired small business owner last served as chairman in 2016.
