Photo contest honors historic preservation

The Indiana Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology is seeking entries for its annual Historic Preservation Month photo contest.

The agency works to preserve buildings and is looking for photos to celebrate that effort. Photos of something that has been preserved, is in the process of being preserved, or desperately needs to be preserved are being sought.

The building in an entry must be in Indiana and be at least 50 years old, showing something that was designed or built.

Entries are due by April 5. There is a limit of three photos per person.

For a complete list of rules and entry guidelines, including a registration form which is required, go to dnr.IN.gov/historic/3994.htm.
