Hop-scotching world record attempt postponed again

Central Middle School’s attempt to hop into the Guinness Book of World Records has been postponed again due to weather conditions.

About 900 Central students and 400 CSA Lincoln students were scheduled to participate in a friendly group hopscotch event on March 8, but cold temperatures and snow postponed the event to Thursday. The school decided to postpone the attempt again due to Thursday’s forecast calling for rain and severe thunderstorms.

School officials are working with Guinness to determine a new date, possibly in May.
