Legal Aid hosts free clinic

Legal Aid announces a free legal aid clinic from 3 to 5 p.m. March 25 in the United Way Center, 1531 13th St.

The free clinics for low-income residents are conducted each month in Bartholomew County.

Individuals who attend the clinic may receive a 10-minute consultation to answer general questions, offer legal information or advice on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no need to register in advance.

Legal Aid is a nonprofit agency offering free civil legal services, lawyer referrals and domestic violence-related legal representation to low-income individuals in eight counties, including Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Rush and Shelby counties.
