Developmental Services Inc.’s 11th annual D-Vine Wine & Beer Festival netted more than $18,000 for individuals with disabilities.

The wine, beer and spirits tasting event was March 2 at the Commons in downtown Columbus.

“We had a very good day,” said DSI Development Officer Claire Hirsch. “We had a lot of support from community sponsors and volunteers and we added a few wrinkles this year to make the event more interesting and raise more revenue for DSI programs.”

For the first time, VIP tickets were sold to about 90 of the 630 guests who sampled area wine, craft beers, and distilled beverages.

DSI is a non-profit organization established in 1975 that serves children and adults with disabilities.
