Louisville man arrested after police find a half pound of meth in his vehicle

A Louisville man was arrested on several drug-related charges including dealing in methamphetamine after a traffic stop.

Indiana State Police troopers assisted by the Bartholomew County Joint Narcotics Team and the Seymour Police Department stopped a vehicle driven by Adam C. Galloway, 43, of 542 Longfield Ave., Louisville, Kentucky, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

During the Thursday night traffic stop, officers located a half pound of methamphetamine with a street value of about $15,000 inside Galloway’s vehicle, Harris said. A small amount of crack cocaine was also recovered.

Galloway was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, Harris said.

Galloway was being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond, jail officials said.
