Pure Barre hosts Pop Up events for charity

Pure Barre Columbus is sponsoring a "Pop Up" Series to raise money for Turning Point and C.A.R.E.

The business is partnering with a number of nonprofits, businesses and organizations to co-host the "Pop Up" events, including the Bartholomew County Public Library, White Diamond Lavender Farms, the Columbus Municipal Airport and others.

There will be 12 "Pop Up" barre workout classes offered from May through October with a portion of the proceeds going to the two organizations. The first is on May 30 at 6 p.m. at Upland Columbus Pump House, which is offered to the first 40 people to sign up for all 12 classes through a "Mega Ticket" promotion.

The goal is to give $2,500 to Turning Point and $2,500 to C.A.R.E. with ticket sales for the "Pop Up" series.
