Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department deputies have arrested a Scipio man who is accused of child molesting and child exploitation, according to court documents.
Levi A. Walters, 28, Scipio, was arrested July 18 and has been held in the Bartholomew County Jail on a 72-hour hold pending filing of charges, deputies said.
Walters is accused of molesting a 6-year-old girl and is also accused of taking videos of the molestation, which were found on his phone, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Bartholomew Circuit Court. Both charges are Level 4 felonies.
A warrant for Walters’ arrest on the two charges was served to him in jail on Monday, and he is now being held in jail on $150,000 bond, jail officials said.
